🎲Player vs House

The typical way to play a casino

Player vs House games are more in line with how traditional casinos and gambling platforms work. The idea being that a user plays a game individually and will either win or lose based on the outcome/result of the game.

House games are often fixed odds games, where the number of outcomes are already predefined, meaning that there there are limited possibilities to the outcome of a game. Such games include things like:

  • Guess the Number

  • Roulette

  • Coin Toss

  • Baccarat

  • Slots

Each game typically has a house edge due to the way that the games are designed. Players who choose to play these games are essentially taking on a risk to win that game in return for a higher reward. The house technically has more chance of winning in most cases, due to the prevailing house edge, and therefore the house does not profit as much from players who lose bets to the house. However over time the house is designed to have a slight edge over the entire set of games being played, so in theory the house should win collectively more than the total amount of players who are playing the PVH games.

The PVP Money platform is indifferent to who wins or loses games, given that the house is actually backed and run by other players on the platform, making the whole system truly Player vs Player. The advantage of player(s) backing the house is that there is less risk of losing, but the reward gains are potentially lower.

Those players who want to take on the house, will have less chance of winning versus the house, but will be rewarded with much higher prizes if they do win. This is simply the nature of gambling on PVH games.

If a player wins a game, the prize for the game is rewarded and the house must pay out winnings to the player. If the house wins (i.e. the player loses their game), then the house takes the stake from the player and the reward is spread over all house stakers in proportion to their staked share in the house.

The opportunity to play games is much more frequent and accessible in PVH games, given that only one person is required to play the game, and so once started it can commence immediately.

All PVH games have a payout limitation based on the amount of funds staked into the house. This is shown on all games along with the odds of winning and any details of the calculated house edge. This limitation mechanism is there to protect the house at times were extremely high winning streaks are encountered, which can happen at any time. A maximum of 5% of the entire value of the house can be won be a player, in any one game.

There are a number of PVH games that players can choose from, which are outlined in the following pages.
